This article is dedicated to helping users resolve some of the more common issues encountered when deploying a CBRS radio with the Bobber 500. Users can verify their connection and other radio related information by accessing http://freedomfi-gateway.local/ on your local desktop (see image below)
NOTE: We expect to update this portal to bobber-gateway.local by April on your local desktop. If you are having trouble accessing the radio dashboard via desktop, please try and access the page using your mobile device.
Power LED is Not On
Why does this happen?
Power cable is bad or loose.
What you can try
Plug and unplug the power cable to make sure the Bobber 500 is getting power.
If you suspect a faulty cable contact customer support
What to provide customer support if unable to resolve

- Submit a request. Choose Bobber 500 and Technical Support as Reason for Contact. Choose Type of issue accordingly.
- Download the support logs from the dashboard and attach it when contacting support.
- Please provide your router’s model number and ISP
- Have your order number and shipping information ready so that support can verify your order.
WAN LED is Not On
Why does this happen?

- The Ethernet cable is faulty or the connectors are bad.
- The Bobber 500 is not working
What you can try
-
- Change out ethernet cable for an ethernet cable that has been verified to work..
- Reboot the Bobber 500 and check that the power is on and that the dashboard status is ‘ok.’

SYNC LED is Not On
Why does this happen?

- The GPS antenna connection is loose
- The GPS antenna doesn’t have a clear view of the sky.
What you can try

- Check that the GPS antenna connection is secure.
- Make sure that the GPS antenna has a clear view of the open sky. The antenna needs to be seen by at least 4 satellites in order for it to function properly.
- Steep walls or roof overhangs can sometimes block the view of the antenna.

LTE LED is Not On
Why does this happen?
Spectrum Access is not Success
What you can try
Check the Local Dashboard Radio tab and make sure the status for SAS, GPS, and LTE are all Success/Locked/Happy
