Overview
In order to have access to this menu item, you will first need to link your Helium account with the Bobber app. Much like the Helium App, the Bobber hotspots tab displays a location map, the Hotspots Settings section (gear icon), as well as a general health status (Online or Needs Attention). The settings provide access to updating the location and WiFi network, as well as a Hotspots diagnostic report if needed. Also familiar to users will be the Earnings and Witnesses displays.
Adding a Hotspot
Select the "+" icon located on the top right of your screen. You will then be prompted to select the gateway or hotspot that you are trying to onboard. Upon making your selection follow the onscreen instructions to complete the onboarding of your hotspot or gateway.
IMPORTANT: A user DOES NOT
have to login to the Bobber app to link their Helium Account and add a hotspot, however, they will not have access to any of the hotspot management or remote troubleshooting features found within the Web Dashboard.
Unique to the Bobber App
Status Display
Access your miner’s real-time LED status, gap, sync status, CPU temperature, network status, and other important data.
Diagnoser
A shortcut to the Bobcat Diagnoser will be available within the hotspots tab. Simply select the stethoscope icon located to the left of the Hotspots Settings section (gear icon).
NOTE: While a key feature of the Diagnoser is that it does not require bluetooth pairing, it is a local diagnoser, meaning that you need to be on the same LAN as the hotspot to access the interface.

Unable to do register my bobcat miner since two days ago!!!
What's going on here why your bobber app is broken?
Me to..
Please fixes the Problem :(
Dear Support,
We have just made an investment of 1K to help build the LORAWAN. Unfortunately here in Belgium we have the same issue as our collegues here above.
My Bobber app is linked to my Helium app and I have also a Bobber account. When we click on "HOTSPOT", we get the following message:
WE'RE HAVING PROBLEMS FETCHNING YOUR HOTSPOTS DUE TO AN API OR NETWORK OUTAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.
TRY TO CHANGE API PROVIDER TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
If I change it to Helium API in stead of StakeJoy API, it gives the same fault.
Please give the people feedback, so we keep supporting the network back.
Greetings,
Tarik from Belgium
I'm running into the same issue as well. Please help!
Also the same issue, being a new bobcat miner.
Todo lo mismo, después de esperar casi 8 meses que llegará montan otra app y no funciona
I recently received my Bobcat 300. I too had that same issue when trying to onboard my miner. I had linked my Helium wallet to the Bobber app. And was receiving the same "Something went wrong" error.
I had found 2 pieces of information in different locations that I think helped me onboard my device.
1) Before attempting to onboard, leave your miner plugged into ethernet for at least 1hr. I left mine overnight. I believe it might have to update something internally????
2) update your Helium App to the latest version. 4.0.1 (Apr 4/22) <- at least that is the Android version. This will allow you to bypass the app forcing you to use the Bobber App and allow you to onboard the miner using the Helium App.
Once I did these 2 things I was able to onboard the miner.
Can’t set up hotspot I get a “waiting to start, please try again in a few minutes” The light is green when I start the process and turn on the Bluetooth.
