Logged into the Wrong Wallet?
If the Helium app indicates your hotspot already has an owner, there is a chance you logged into the wrong wallet. Sometimes this happens when you recently logged out of your wallet and then logged back in. Here are a few things you need to pay attention to:
- If unable to find your hotspot, check your wallet’s ‘hotspot transactions.' If it is blank, this probably means that you logged into the wrong wallet.
- Log out of your Helium account and log back in. Please make sure to use the right 12 seed phrase in the correct order that you were given when you first created your account. Some words can be similar such as ‘Art’ and ‘Artwork" so please make sure you are using the exact word provided.
- Most of the time when you enter an incorrect 12 seed phrase you are unable to log in, however, there have been cases where users have been able to log into an empty wallet.
- If you are still unable to see your hotspot, please contact us so we can escalate the issue.

i need hwlp my miner says it allready has owner i cant get it to mine and i lost my first wallet i use hotspotty but have yet to have any luck to earn anything yet ive tried starting over like 12 times with the app hotspotty is what ud like to use
I purchased a second hotspot on Mercari and didn't realize it had previously been registered and used and remains registered to the previous owner, whom I cant contact, just getting started troubleshooting, but from what ive read so far there is no factory reset for the bobcat miner so my only two options seem to be contacting the previous owner or Bobcat directly. Any help would be much appreciated.
Ich habe das gleiche problem, wie Thomas. Ich habe einen Bobcat 300 gekauft, der vorher einen anderen Besitzer hatte. Wie und was kann ich machen, damit der Miner auf meinem namen registriert wird? Kann mir jemand weiter Helfen ?
