Changes to My Miner During an OTA

You might temporarily see these displays or errors during an OTA update, which are normal and do not require intervention: 

  1. The LED light turns yellow

  2. The Diagnoser cannot be accessed

  3. The Miner (5s) pages show the error ‘RPC to 'miner@' failed’

All of these are temporary and you DO NOT need to do anything. Part of the OTA update process can involve stopping and removing the older Helium Miner software before downloading and starting the newest version. When the Miner software is not running, you will see the above issues. The hotspot will go back to normal on its own once the OTA is complete.
